Scorpion factory alarm hell!

Yo!

My little project 325iSE is coming along nicely, but this alarm is giving my jip! i have no keys or fobs for it either.

What it is doing is fooking up my indicators, when the battery is connected all indicators are on even with no keys in the ignition they won't go out, flash nothing just all 6 on!

Now if i disconnect the siren under the bonnet where the battery is normally, the indicators work no prob. So i know the problem but cannot fix it! BUT the bloody car won't start when the siren is disconnected :x

I know i need to bridge 2 wires and all will be sorted, but which 2 on the plugs that fit into the siren peeps? Or how can i f**k the thing off the car for ever?!

All my other jobs on her have gone really well so far and she is cruising for an MOT asap! so she can be at a meet near u!

Thanks boys!

Indicator wires on the car are blue/red and blue/black.
The place BMW recommends for alarms to be connected to the indicators is at the plug and socket at the back of the glovebox, but of course, an aftermarket alarm could be connected anywhere.( Loom from the steering column is popular amongst less informed installers).
Factory connection for the immobilizer part of an alarm is to a white two pin socket with two green wires in a loom that goes above the glove box, but again it could be connected anywhere, or even to a different circuit alll together.

it's defo a dealer fitted from new scorpion alarm, it's identical to the one on my sport.

The siren is switced off, it's just the immobilizer kicking in unwanted! so how can i make it think it's happy and let the car go! It's wired up to the fuel relay thingy.

lost a bit on this one, me and electrics are not a good team :?

If it's factory fitted, then all the connections should be behind/above the glovebox. Have a look and list what colour car loom wires the alarm wires connect to.

si, i cannot remember off hand but i will find out what two wires you need to bridge in the siren loom to bypass the fuel cut off. i might even have a spare siren somewhere.

Red/yellow and purple/black are the immobilizer wires on the last scorpion alarm I pulled out and threw away.
Purple and red/black were the connections to the indicator wires.

Just as well I write down and file notes for everything I do on E30s.

Would take me less than a minute to defeat any non EWS immobilizer fitted to an E30, using stuff I normally keep in my car.
You need to short circuit things to make a car secure, not just open circuit them.

I see what you mean. Never really thought about that, since they are so ridiculously easy to bypass.
Like I said, if, you want a secure immobilizer, short circuit something, or switch a fair size capacitor to the neg. terminal of the coil to earth.
Get the value right, and the scumbags will think it's going to start, but it never just will. They might just hang around long enough to attract attention and get caught.
