Question and part numbers

I need to turn the superior knowledge of the zone here.

The Problem: I bought a b25 throttle body for my 320i and got a new rubber boot to fit, however this rubber boot is different to that which came off my b20. On my b20 one, the boot had a smaller diameter offshoot coming off it, (connecting to a pipe which seems to come from the brake servo?) but my new rubber boot to fit the b25 throttle body does not have this bit.

The Question: Do I need to get a new boot with the offshoot (if so, does anyone know the correct part number?) or is there a part I can get which would allow me to fit the one that I have? (Again does anyone know the part and part number that I need)

Yes, as long it will fit the b25 throttle body.

Alternatively a part for the smaller diameter pipe that would allow me to fit the boot that I bought.

This will fit a B25 Throttle body no problem! It was removed from a B25.

As for an alternative, i'm not sure if there is anything to be honest, hopefully someone can advise something different!

Keep the boot you have and modify the servo vacuum pipe to the much simpler arrangement used on later 325's. I do this as a matter of course on any M20 I change the boot on, as it simplifies the engine bay and makes future maintenance much easier on the inlet side of the engine, as the pipe can easily be removed completely.
Throw away the complicated plastic vacuum valve and replace it with a simple right angled one from a M40 or any later BMW. Just a short hose from the throttle body to the valve, and another short piece to the servo.

Thanks, this is what I was hoping for as I wanted to keep my new part rather than replace with a second hand one.
