Will an LHD AC Evaporator/Fan/Box Assembly fit an RHD car?

Hi all, need some help matching parts...

I've gathered almost all of the parts required to install an AC in my 318i M40 MY1989. I am missing the fan/heater/evaporator/box assembly.

I have found this and I was wondering if it would fit. My concern is that it is from an LHD whereas mine is RHD car.

However, part number printed on the housing 64111386521 is the same as the one listed here:

Is there anything that would make the "ebay" item incompatible with my car? i.e. the steel wires' direction that adjust vents, etc.

I've searched a lot and can't seem to find one either online or local.

Many thanks!!!

I can see no reason why not.

When I converted a LHD touring to RHD,the heater did not need any alteration.

Thanks, great news as these items seem to be very rare to find. This is the R12 version, I assume it can be converted to 134a with new seals.

That I cannot help with,I have no first-hand knowledge of air con units!

Danthe and BSS325i are the zone experts with air-con fitting and repairing.

BMW sell a kit to convert to r134a, basically a drier and some seals, there is some wiring to alter aswell.
