diff oil

Hello,
just fitted a rear diff, what oil do i need for it?

Hypoid oil, 75W90 or 80W90, the choice is yours. If it's a small diff, you'll need just under a litre. if it's a medium diff (for 325) you'll need 1.7 litres.

Whats different then? The amount needed, or the type of oil? Gonna do mine when I get back from overseas.

Type of oil,run an LSD on standard stuff and it will cease to be an LSD....

As I do not run an LSD,I am not sure about the correct grade here,but I am sure a search will pull up a suitable suggestion.

For LSD use Castrol B373 is the only oil ill use for an e30 lsd you can get it from eBay or opie oils.

Diff. is exactly the same in both, so yes.
