Don't be tempted to buy 13mm nuts as replacements (the majority of M6 nuts I found in hardware shops were 13s). You'll find that it makes access with a socket even more difficult than with the 12mm originals.

For how much they are at the dealers I wouldn't waste time looking elsewhere
