After doing the fronts, I'd like to match the rears. I have some nice little two pot calipers but missing the discs. Does anyone know of a vented rear disc I can use?

nothing that i know of, certainly not in 4x100 although someone on here may know otherwise.
perhaps having a steel bell made that will take one of the bolt on brake discs, this would allow the handbrake to function as intended as well?

I believe that the z1 discs are vented.

The 325ix touring has vented 258x19 discs. I don't know if you can order these parts in Britain, but on Ebay.de for sure.

no, just 280mm vs 260mm.
i'm led to believe there's a later 294mm vented option that retains the handbrake, pssibly e46.

Just looked at the e46 discs and they look ok. The drum diameter appears to be the similar, may have to use the matching shoes. Cheers guys.

you have the trouble of drilling to 4x100, but its no real drama, even though one of the bolt holes will break into one of the 5 stud holes but its the clamping force of the studs that creates friction to hold the disc, the studs dont really do any holding.

I'll have holes done at a machine shop, the job needs doing properly if its going to be done. I'll also get the disc reatianing bolt hole drilled as I can't stand the disc falling off every time you take the wheel off!
Is anyone else interested in a upgrade? If so i'll put some info up on what I use

tbh you shouldn't really need vented discs on the rear of an E30, no real reason, none were made powerful enough to warrant them. contact Kerri & WMS, they may have something or be able to get hold of them for you.

I can supply this disc, with the bore reduced and re-drilled as shown if you like? Retains the E30 drum part, 294x19 vented.

Im starting to run quite a lot of power now, and looking at over 450 in the near future. A brake upgrade for me is a good idea i think.

Whats the price on these? Could save me some time.

As they are not in production yet they'll be done as a pair not a batch which doesn't exactly help the price. As shown in the photo (4x100, locating ring fitted, retaining hole added, 290mm OD) they are £196.80+vat/pr.
However if you're happy to do the drilled parts yourself I can supply them with just the locating rings fitted for a LOT less - a quick tot-up makes them £104.00+vat/pr that way?
Let me know if any of that is a help!
