Not sure of the diamiter, sorry.

But ive just had mine done, and make sure and leave yourself plenty time, we had to take the prop shaft, exhaust and fuel tank out just to replace a section! Not the easiest job in the world.

I will try and find out the size for you tomorrow.

I think it's pretty much a universal size for most modern cars. I'm sure wherever you're gonna buy it from will know for sure.

As it's a euro motor it should be 3/16"(5mm) dia pipe with M10 fittings.
If you are replacing under the car then try to go for Nickel/Copper pipe, slightly harder than standard copper.
If you are doing it yourself you will need a pipe flaring tool.

or you could get them from the dealers ?

I think they come cut to the right length with the correct fittings/ends already on you just have to bend them to shape ?

Brake pipe only comes in one size for cars, 3/16" or 4.6 something mm.
Use copper nickel alloy (cunnifer) pipe. Only costs about Ԛ£7 for enough to do every line on an E30 and still have some left over.
Make sure you get metric fittings for it.

Nice one lads thanx very much for the replys.

The whole rear end is now in bits so getting to the pipes is not a problem.
They really really need doing too. very supprised and shocked its got through an mot.

Darren - Its lowered 60mm front and 40mm rear on a spax psx kit. thanx very much for the comment!
