Heater hose from the rear of the head goes to the bottom heater hose. Release an airlock at the back of the head by filling the coolant bottle, then taking the top heater hose off, and refitting it when coolant flows from both ends. With the M20 engine, you can pull the overflow hose back in from the hole in the inner wing, put the end in your mouth, your hand flat across the neck of the coolant bottle, and blow into the pipe.
You won't overheat a 325 many times without cracking the head!
