1989 325i Cabrio exhaust question

I am looking at running hottunings SS exhaust manifold doing a delete of the mid box back to a scorpion mid box running 2" stainless to connect it all. How will performance be affected by the mid box removal and how loud will it be with this setup. I don't want that obnoxious ricer sound.
