Hello guys,
Does anyone know the correct part number for the coding plug on an '88 320i I suspect that my (recently aquired)cabriolet doesn't have the original clocks in it. the readings are fine, but the OBC shows the wrong speed, and gives an average fuel consumption of 4mpg too low. my guess is that this is the coding plug, a my brothers 325 sport obc give about the right average consumption.

Any ideas or part numbers guys?

Cheers

It's more likley that the code plug in the back of the OBC is wrong.

Would that plug look something like this:

If so would it also be a reason for a faulty temp gauge???

Sorry bout poor quality photo, was taken with my phone
