E30 Zone

just fitted a sump on a 325 e30 but the oil light is staying on and the oil is not getting to the head. it was fine when i drove it in to the workshop. anyone know what this could be?

is it the same sump??
if not the pickup could be against the base.
I assume you didn't put too much gasket sealer on have it squeez out and get sucked up into the pick up.
If not it could be airlocked. remove the oil light switch and with a squirt oil can pump oil down into the hole. only a thought but it could prime the pump

no its a new sump . took the oil presser swich out turnd it ove and no oil pumped out . the pickup could be against the base ill have to take it back off again

do the oil can trick first. if the pump is worn it may need priming
