Would it be hard to put A/C and heated seats in my e30 318is?

Can I just pop in the buttons for A/C and pop in a compressor or how would that work??????

It's a LOT more involved than that! compressor, dryer, all the plumbing, condensor, matrix etc. People have done it but I don't think it's for the faint-hearted!

plus the M42 has a totally unique compressor mounting plate and tensioner wheel.

Heated seats are much easier, although if the seats don't have heater elements from new, they'll be a pain to add. The other components are just wires and switches so no big deal.

So in Quebec (?) does it get so hot you need AC and so cold you need heated seats ?

I think it's the cars that had factory fitted A/C that had the dual mass flywheel, the heavier flywheel helps the engine maintain a steady idle if the load changes.

In the summer it gets up to 30°C sometimes more (rare) and in the winter it gets to below 30°C. Short answer: Yes.

There are many places in the world where the temperature gets below 30°C, it's when it gets down to 5°C and below you would want the heated seats.

Did you mean below 0°C ?
