325i autobox jumping and sticking

my autobox is sticking in gear and also the kickdown has stopped working..sports mode also has stopped working and sometimes it jumps through gears...IS IT FUCKED? any ideas anyone,,,any help is much appreciated..... doing my box in lol

most likely the EH ECU that sits in the boot above the jack. actually the connector can get corroded in the damp winter, so worth you unplugging and reconnecting the large connector and just see the condition. Also goes the orange light (trans program) in the dash ever light up when driving? looks like the TopGear logo with a ! in the middle.

autobox ecu as mark says.... does it drive like its in 3rd gear... it means its in safe mode... change ecu in boot... but make sure you match the serial numbers up.. like for like!!!

yes mate the orange light does come on now and then.are the ecu available from bmw,also are they expensive

Get your ECU number then post up in the wanted section of the forum! BMW will want a minimum of £500 for a new one!
