E30 Zone

325i cabby engine sputtering ,missing ,losing power when i am driving,also when stationary the gearbox makes a random clanking noise .when i push clutch in noise goes, any ideas what i wrong ?????

Engine problem is most likely an air leak on the inlet side.
Gearbox problem is 'normal'.

sorted.turned out it was fuel line had slit split in it.

If a fuel line was split enough to affect engine performance, you are very lucky you haven't incinerated the whole thing!

that's what I was thinking. check air boot that was fine all other plugs and leads were ok. fuel line had a small split in it were it's connected to injector rail. luck or what.
