prop shaft

following adam instructions to get me tank out thanks mate,
having trouble removing the diff all the fixings are undone the spline seems a to not want to move so i can draw the shaft out plus can the bolts on the diff end be taken out or are the fixed (thought they might be an interfearance fit ?) help not keen on the brute force method

Not quiite sure what you mean here, but the prop is removed by undoing the two bolts holding the centre bearing carrier, and pulling the middle of the prop downwards to "shorten" it.

Have you undone the collar nut on the rear half of the propshaft ? it's on the spline end of the rear prop.

Do you mean the bolts on the rear prop that drive the diff input flange ? if so they are captive in the universal joint flange.

how u mean what does this nut do all nuts fron and back centre offf wont cllear gear box or diff

unbolted the fromt, unbolted the back, unbolted the cemtre, neither end of the prop will clear diff or gearbox and that spline dont wanna slide

Jam a screw driver in between the flanges to help separate them. If you pull down on the centre of the prop, it should come free at either end. Undo the centre collar nut and it should slide, try squirting some WD40.
