the temp gauge in my car seems to twitch a bit

am i right in thinking it has to do with the conenction on the back of the clocks?

what do i need to check?

take the clocks/dials out & have a look for a small brass nut on the back of the needle (sometimes it's missing) if it's there make sure it's tight if it's not there then replace it & also check the one on the back of the fuel gauge.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

I had the same problem until a few weeks back. The job as described took about 10 mins! Pi55 easy!!

i have this problem with my fuel guage at idle sometimes - could this be the same problem?

could be. just follow the giude in the link above & check the brass nut on the back of the fuse gauge needle.

if it's still there make sure it's good & tight if it's gone awol then replace it.
