Hi All,
Ok so I know there is a difference in suspension between the 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and touring and cab.
I think I am right in saying that the 318IS and the 325 Sport both had Mtech suspension which was around 15mm lower.
The question is are the rear springs the same on the IS as they are on the 325 sports?
Thanks for your help
Andy

The 4 pot and 6 pot spring are different though so you need to order them for the correct ammount of cylinders you have.

I know thats the case for the front - because of the struts, but will the rear ones not just be the same?

I always thought it was to match the different weights of the 4/6 cylinder cars, not sure what the difference between the two is at the back though.

Personally I'd go with Eibach everytime. They're excellent and half the price of MTech.

Brand new cabbie specific M-tec rear spring on the left.
Elderly standard cabbie spring on the right is now holding up the rear of my touring!
Rear springs are slightly different between body shapes, engine size or cylinder count has no impact at the rear.
