318i central locking - nearly there! Help on the last bit?

Hi,
I've been through all the central locking advice I can find on here and have done the red/black wire job, cleaned multi-pins both sides, replaced lock barrel and L piece etc. etc. on my 4 doors 3i8i. I'm nearly there with getting it all fully working properly ( I think) but the passenger side door isn't right yet - any help appreciated. A boring blow by blow account on things at the mo may help nail it down?

1) everything locks from the drivers side door - key fully horizontal turned to the left ( deadlocked?)
2) All doors unlock fine from drivers side when turning key clockwise to plus 45degree position. Boot still locked at this point but unlocks fine manually
3) When locking the boot again manually all doors lock
4) I can then lock and unlock everything from the boot with the key
5) With everything locked, passenger side key will unlock all doors but not the boot
6) Passenger door key will then lock the passenger door only, with all the other doors staying open
7) need to go back to drivers side to lock everything.

It seems to me everything is nearly OK with some small prob left on the passenger door side - mechanism? microswitch, multipin etc? . Any advice greatly appreciated - as Brian so often says - a BMW should work right!!

Thanks guys
