E30 Zone

ive recently developed a loud knock from underneath the car sounds like it could be prop related (inside the car it sounds like its underneath but between the two front seats) fine when i pull away but as the revs start picking up even slowly it starts knock knock knock and i can feel it in my left leg obviously quite concerned an have parked the car up till its sorted, which means i cant drive it

i read everything prop related that came up in a search for propshaft in technical help and im pretty sure its the props centre bearing and or doughnut, just to see if anyone agrees before i start fiddling with rusty heat sheild bolts and i take the exhaust that ive just replaced back off again

On the principle that the last thing changed is the biggest suspect, could it be that the exhaust is knocking somewhere?

i had it up on axel stands and lay under the car so i could see the full system and gave it a shake to see if it was fouling anything but it wasnt and it didnt matter how hard i shook it
