Electric window upgrade?

Hi guys
Just a quick question about electric windows.
I`m thinking about buying a chrome pre-face lift and I`ve noticed most dont have electric windows.
Are the connectors there? Or is it an aftermarket retro fit jobby?

On my moredoor I fitted rear electric windows, the pre-formed holes for the switches were on the centre console, just cut them out with a stanley knife, the wiring was already there, don't know about a pre-facelift though.

Cheers, I was told that face-lifts could be upgraded, just wasnt sure on pre-facelift.
If they can then I dont mind buying a good example poverty spec

If a 4 or 5 door has factory fitted front electric windows, then most of the wiring should be in place for the rears.
If a car had keep fit front windows from new, then the wiring is unlikely to be fitted

One particular one I`m looking at is a 2 door with winders, so I`m guessing that the connectors wont be in place?

Probably not, but the wiring isn't difficult, using part of an OE loom from around the switches, and lengths of twin flex via the dashboard and through the rubber ducts into the doors, similar to the arrangement used for dealer fitted electric windows.

Could an electrical novice with good common sense fit them?
