Fan sounds like its snagging

Hello everyone, whenever my fan cuts in it sounds like its snagging on something. Its making a weird buzzing noise. Any ideas on what it could be? Cheers

If it's your viscous fan the noise is normal.I'd be much more concerned about why ,especially in rural ipswitch.How old is your radiator,it might be partially blocked?

Going by the posts so far, I haven't a clue what this thread is about, but going by the title, check your engine mounts.

The radiator was replaced in 2004, a brand new bmw was used. Ill check the engine mounts then let you know.
