E30 Zone

Hey fellas,

I've just replaced the front shocks on my 318. I've since sourced some 51mm struts which I'll be fitting once I've given them a clean up.

I'm sure I remember reading that you can use the shocks for the smaller struts in the larger ones as long as you use the correct retaining collar on the strut top. Is this right or will i have to fork out for another set of new shocks?

I'm not planning any engine changes in the near future, I'm just after some better suspension at the minute.
