e36 M3 seats in a E30 cab

Guys
would fitting e36 m3 vadar seats be a straight fit into a e30 cab, i'm considering doin it to mine but if it's a big job i wont bother.
help please?

Either weld them in, drill a couple of new holes or make some brackets for them.
Has been done before using these methods

If you do it that way they wont slide all the way back so if your a long legged coont you wont be able to drive the car

You'd weld the bottom runners in so you could still slide the seat forward and back.
IIRC, Ben (bootyman) has done it this way
