Gearbox removal

Unfortunately, whilst removing the gearbox from my m20b25, i've rounded one of the hex bolts off, the one below the last start motor mount.

I'm thinking the only option is to drill the bolt out but wanted to ask in case anyone could offer any advice or other ideas. The engine and transmission are out of the car for what its worth.

All the other bolts are out fine just this last one

Thanks

Irwin stud removers before you get the drill out. Also try 6 point sockets and a big breaker bar.

Thats a good way of doing it but it depends where the bolt is if its at the top your going to have trouble getting access to it.

Whats this irwin tool any likes for one please

Looks to me like a undersized socket you hammer on for a 2nd chance at getting the bugger off.

I've got access to drill / cut the head of the bolt off but wanted to ask first. I'll try this irwin trickery - hopefully next weekend - and report back.
