Air Leak, effect to engine?? ((Pic))

HI what do u call the air hose on top of the head cover connected to the ........(sorry no idea). its circle red in the Picture.
If that air hose leak, what can it do to my 323 i engine e30. thanks

It would probably make the engine idle a bit rough, as that is a crankcase breather hose. Would have to be quite a leak for you to notice though I would of thought.

ok thanks dude, maybe that's the reason my 323i is like suffocating air

yeah it would be dragging in air. effectivly the same as taking off the oil cap affecting the idle.
