E30 Zone

Anyone know how to remove the 'luggage cover rail' on a touring, I can see the two big screws which I've removed, but there are two others I cannot get to as the plastic ends would need to come off, but these don't appear to slid off, I would have to break them? Anyone removed the cover rail before??

The cassete with the luggage cover rotates and lifts out from the end pieces. You can then get at the two screws securing each end piece.
