Hi,
I have just purchased an aftermarket lights left on warning relay from a member on here and wondered if anyone knew how to wire it into the car?
It is a Durite 0-562-00

Can't help you with which wire is what on the unit, but you will need to connect to earth (brown wire), the grey/red panel light wire and the brown/purple door pin switch, if it's the type that sounds if you open a door with the lights on.
If you take off the under dash panel above the driver's knees, you will find a spare plug with the grey/red and brown wires, if you don't have height adjustable headlamps, and the brown/purple can be found behind the RH speaker panel.

There are three wires, and I've given you three places to connect them!
Nothing written on the terminals?
The black/purple thing is an electrolytic capacitor, and one of its pins will be marked '-' for negative, usually all the way down the side of the case. Trace the copper tracks - if the neg. one of the capacitor goes to a terminal, then that is probably the earth connection.

You need to get the earth correct, but I wouldn't expect damage to occur if the other two were the wrong way around.
