hi does anyone now what size the front struts are on a 1989 320i cab.

i'm pretty sure all 6cyl had 51mm struts

no, the 320's didn't - cab's, tourers, iS's & 2.5's possibly early 323's all do - with the exeption of 4 pot cabs/tourings

It should have 51mm struts. All cabby's as well as touring's have 51mm struts and rear disc brakes regardless of engine size.

That's factory spec, could have anything on it now after 15 years

Best bet is to measure up what's fitted now.

All cabs have the larger 51mm struts.

Quick question,any advantage having the 51mm struts? as i have a320i which has the smaller struts,looking to refurb the suspension over the winter so wondering whether to get these before i start.

More range of shocks, Bilstiens B12's, B8's and B6's, and a choice of springs too
