clutch pedal slow to come back up - serious?

evening
have noticed a couple of times that when i take my foot off the clutch, the pedal is slow to come up. its not everytime though..
any ideas to ascertain whether the problem is serious or not?

check for fluid loss, expect to replace the M/cyl and or Slave soon I'm afraid.

put some card down last night and there are some spots of oil on it..
just changed all the shocks and front disks/pads... going to have to find the credit card i think
if i bought the parts would i just need master/slave and fluid?

yeah, you could change the flexi hose to the slave cyl for the full monty, only an extra £10 and there's nothing to contaminate the new parts.

Not being funny but the last time i tried finding a flexi hose it was a dealer only part at £80 and a braided one was £40

use a std rear intermediate hose ( fem/fem) with a second M10x1 male on the remainded steel hose from the original, or make a new M/M fitting(pennies)
there's always a workaround
