E30 Zone

I have got an 86' 320i e30 and my wash wipes have a mind of their own, when they are on the intermitent setting they dont stop and start as they should, they start then stop in the middle of the windscreen (great when your driving!!), then jerk a bit more etc but when their on the normal and fast setting they work fine, i think my car is possesed or Pis*** one or the other. any help would be great, go easy though.

try spraying the switch with contact cleaner as well
ie stalk
