E30 Zone

been taking out all uneeded lights from my standard e30 loom so it literally only has the lights heated screen etc. just wondering i have a couple of large plugs which sit behind the glove box, one has lots of wires going in but only two out and the other if i remember correctly just links to the heater unit etc. are these ok to be totally removed along with the diagnostic plug and loom etc.
any help much appreciated
