Can anybody tell me if the 325i has the same propshaft as the 320i

No, 320i has a shorter gearbox so the prop is slightly longer.

they are adjustable though?

i'm no prop expert but i'd have thought a 320i prop would fit a 325i with adjusting it

Not that much Magpie, there is more size differnce than the adjustment allows.

1489mm for a 325 prop.
1526mm for a 320 prop.
They might be adjustable, but that's the back half. It's the front part that's different lengths.

unless both 325 and 320 are auto, then they share the same prop.
