need a bit of advice... firstly, this motor... its an '89. but its got chrome on the bumpers... is this just a convertible adition or does it suggest a strange history :D

second up... what sort of money should i be paying for this (yea i know - based on pics alone - but just after a guide!)

320i, 89, 140k, leather, new hood.

the crome bumpers or factory fitted so its anything to worry about, id probably pay no more than 1400 on a car with that milege, depends on a lot of factors really

thanks elliot!

prices for these things are pretty strange - autotrader has similar mileage ones from 1500 all the way up to 3500!!!!!

supose it comes down to how tidy it is yea?

If it's got a good history and is in good nick without scratches and rust and the leather is good, it's got to be worth Ԛ£2k, and thats if I was buying... if I was selling I'd be asking a bit more.

as a guide:
I paid 1500 for mine, needed a new hood, but had full bmw service history 102k miles, Mint cloth interior, Rebuilt head and belt change within 3 months, (done @ bmw :O) also had old alpine cdplayer + Changer, oh and 1 previous owner :P

Mine was up for 2k, but i got him down on the price because the pad warning light was on, and there was a hole in one of the rear lights :P
