Give it a tap with the nut underneath just on a few threads, it should come up easy eough. It is set down into a splined recess, there isn't actually anything on the top end to undo. Not sure if that's what you were asking though?

Hi, Thank you.

So knock it from under the car upwards? If i'm correct this stud has a large bush about it (it's crush tube)

the stud is just a long bolt, smack it upwards from underneath with the rear seat base removeds and it should just appear up in the car.

The centre sleeve of the rear beam bush may remain attached to the car.

Once you have the stud/ bolt removed and have got the rear beam off the car, if the centre alloy sleeve of the bush remains, then use a 3/8 extension bar and insert it into the sleeve and give it a good wiggle about to try and loosen the sleeve from the chassis. If it won't come off then you'll end up having to be a bit more brutal and the sleeve may snap off leavingt some metal in the recess on the chassis. You'll need to chisel out any remains and it's a bit of a pain in the arse.

Put the seat base loosely back into place.
