Ive read somewhere that the trailing arms from the 1.9 Z3 is a good modification if you dont want to use secondhand stuff.

Tourings all came with rear discs, but I've never heard of a non 325 saloon with them as OE.
Could have been on the options list I suppose, but it's a new one on me.
Do you have the matching vented discs at the front?
hi

yeah they match the front i think
yeah thats wat ive been told
the bloke who bought it back in 1989 musta
added it on the options list because my car
is also low on standard suspension so ive
been told i may have the upgraded m tech
suspension too
im not realy 100% tho

Try a magnet on the front control arms. M-tech/touring ones should be aluminium, but most will have long since been replaced by steel by now.

Come to think of it, ANY model with the ABS option must have had rear discs.

It'll take twice that to get the old handbrake cables off!
