heaters stopped

i was sat in my 325 convertible having a
, heaters on full as it was blo0dy freezing.. then all of a sudden the heaters stopped.. any ideas?

They're stoned & were getting paranoid about the driver, assuming its the fan, I'd check the fuse first, if thats OK, then start looking at the resistor maybe?

completely dead, checked what i presume is the right fuse etc, nothing happens except a ticking noise for 1 second
