Hi can anyone tell me where the Check panel relay module is located in the car, as in my years of owning it I have never found it. (or looked for it till now.) I have obtained another module to hopefully cure an issue with the check panel.
I would appreciate any help.
Cheers

Not too sure on this, but there is a gadget in the boot area that may be what you are looking for.
Behind the trim on the nearside and tucked up on the inside of one of the openings.
May I ask what your check panel issue is,please?

Its all to do with my brake light, keeps on being triggered at random times. Even when im not using the brakes.
My first thought was the bulbs, but thy are all fine and tight in the holders, plus i've also changed the brake light switch as well. So i can only thinks it maybe the module.
Or if you have any other ideas?

Rear lamp monitoring module is where daimlerman says, almost touching the aerial and recognizable by the fact it has two similar plugs connected to it, but it's unlikely to be the cause of your problem. (Although not impossible!)
Check that the pull rod across the car behind the heater box is adjusted properly, or suspect the lamp holder assemblies. There are several versions in circulation, and some are much more reliable than others!

Thanks guys, Yep i found it and swapped it with another one.
And i have just come back from a quick drive and its still doing it.
But i don't understand, does the wiring for the check panel run behind the heater, in the console?

If the pull rod isn't adjusted properly the brake lights are likely to flash on when the car goes over bumps. These current surges can easily switch on the warning LED.
