Hi all, just wondering if exhaust systems from chrome and facelift 325s are interchangeable?

I think I've ended up with a pre-facelift downpipe and a post-facelift rest of the exhaust back from there. They don't slot together right where they should - you end up with 2 flanged pipes butting up together on one side.

Just going to replace the whole shibang to save messing about so need to know if both types will fit?

Two flanged pipes do butt up against each other in places on a BMW exhaust. There should be an olive between them.
