Is there a contactless distributor system?

Hello all,

After making my head hurt researching on t'internet I thought I'd ask you guys...

I'm happy with my 89 325i motronic but is there a contactless way to distribute the spark to my M20 plugs? I don't want to change to mega squirt etc but want to replace the rotor arm / distributor with something maintenance free and that gives consistent performance.

Please when you return comments bare in mine that I am learning so I don't know everything!!
