E30 Zone

on my m40 318i coupe, i get the common 'bounce' on the rev counter just after i shut off the engine.

yesterday i noticed that when i turn the blower motor up speed wise, the temp gauge also slightly raises. when i turn it off, the temp gauge goes back.

whast causung this?

is it the batteries?

forgot to add there is another electrical gremlin with them cos sometimes the mpg gauge swings right over to the zero reading unless on vitually no throttle, but then after a short whilt a couple of the service indicator bulbs flash and it works fine. i know my tps is working fine cos i tested that.

are the clocks goosed?
