318 is throttle body electrics

wot are the electrical connections for on my throttle body. wot signals do thay send or receive and haw dose the throttle body generate the signal?

Throttle position switch - measures now open the butterfly is. Its a variable resistor so the resistance rises and falls as the butterfly opens and closes.

is that the only signal? also dose it just measure it on the big butterfly or throttle cable or dose it measure both butterfly valves independently? (if that makes sense)

thanks. so thats it.

any chance anyone knows the max and min resistance the TPS creates allowing the ECU to determine wether the throttle is for fully open and fully closed?

02 THROTTLE VALVE SWITCH 4 KOHM

If that is correct the range will be from about 0 to 4000 ohms but I have never tested one on the car.
