Ok im refurbing a pair of trailing arms and stub axles...
Now the problem is how do i push/pull the stub axle into the splined flange on the hub?...
Its a rear disc car btw if that makes any difrence?

You mean installing the drive shafts?
I used a smear of grease and they slid in by hand and maybe a slight tap with a lump of wood (something that wouldn't damage the CV boots)
Got them far enough in to get the nut started which pulled them the rest of the way in.
