Advice needed

ok i may have to change my engine, should i pay throught the nose for another m42 engine or should i throw something else in there? What else will fit the m42 gearbox or propshaft? bigger or smaller i dont care as long as she is driveable again!!
What else will i need to complete any swap?

I would definitely stick with a M42 engine as any conversion will cost u and the car will NEVER be the same ...best to be original (my opinion). Or just buy another E30 and break urs.

Dont get me wrong, i loved the beast and the way she drove for the 5 days i drove her and if i cud pick up an engine cheap enuff i wud throw on einto her, but they are hard to find over here in Northern Ireland, there wasnt many of them sold here!!
