Cold Start issue on 316i M40

Hello Chaps,
Can anyone help me solve a cold start issue I have with my wife's 316i?
It recently passed its MOT but was running lean, I had this adjusted and the car is running a lot better but when the car is cold despite always starting first time it struggles to idle. If you rev the car the revs drops and it wants to stall.
About 6 months ago I gave the car a good service; changed plugs, filters and even the blue temperature sensor just to be on the safe side as it has done a fair few miles.
Can anyone help with this? When up to temperature the car runs perfectly.
