smoky exhaust

i have recently been getting more smoke coming out the exhaust than usual? i dont no wether its because of the winter kicking in or what? its not so bad once warm thanks guys

Watch your oil levels, check for mayo under the oil cap.

Worst case it is stem seals on they're way out. That's not so good.

What colour is the smoke? If it's blue/grey & mainly on startup then stem seals would indeed be a suspect. More likely to just be condensation if it doesn't do it in the summer though!

As above and condensation will dissipate in the air where as smoke won't. Smoke will also above be grey or blue and steam closer to true white.

If your unsure a mirror or glass panel held in the gas will bead with water if its condenstaion. I forget the ratio of water produced from a litre of fuel but its surprisingly high, and is the most likely culprit.
