Should my car smell so much of petrol? It never used to. I bought it a year back, left it parked up whilst on my ban, although would start it regualrly, and drive it up and down my drive. I have so far put in £25 petrol, its on 39 miles and the light is back on lol?! I know they're not exactly Eco friendly, but I fear there is something influencing the disgusting mileage.

Any help will be much appreciated.

And sorry, just had it MOT'd, the CO emission came out as LIMITS = MAX 3.50%, READING = 1.77%, if that helps.

your petrol tank might have a hole, check your petrol lines also the petrol filter

I will check this on the weekend. I have filled the tank now, will see what mpg I get and make a decision after that.
