hey guys got an anoying mis fire at idle at all times and low revs when cold when i got the car the guy reconed he put a fast road cam in it cant see any markings on it. parts i have changed are blue sensor, plugs leads dizzy cap and rotorarm icv and latest one the afm there is no air leaks. had it on the co machine at work and it runs very rich wiht the co at around 1 - 1.2 the hc is at around 4000. if i turn the co to 2.5 + where it should be the hc goes up again. and the car is undriveable at low speeds.

also the car is a 2.5

any ideas?

cheers

idle should be set at 1% co2. Have you tried resetting the ecu for it to relearn the idle settings? is the car pre or post facelift?

cheers for the replies guys.
i know that with a cam you get lumpy idle and over fueling but surely when its cold its it shouldnt over fuel to the to the point of misfire from idle and up to 3k when its warm to the mis fier goes compleatly. but idleing lots of over fueling.
i droped the co. to 1% well it fluctuates .9 to 1.2 on idle no real difference. when warm. i will have to wait till the morning.

willnz- when you say about the valve cleareces will the gaps not be the same as standard? (which they are set to).
also any one know how to read cam profiles?

thanks again for the advice any more would be apreciated .
cheers
