Firstly my washer fluid light came on and saw that my washer bottle was toppred up fine but and additional bottle which seems to joined to the washer bottle was empty. Its alot smaller aswell. What do i fill this up with.I normally fill the wasjer fluid bottle up with water only.

Secondly my gear knob, when in neutral, sits, not in the middle, but to the left(if your in the drivers seat). What can i do or what can be done to rectify this?

I know i said a couple of questions but another one just popped into my head

Right, imagine your in second gear for instance and you got a turning coming up which you know you can take in second. You take it with out touching the clutch and you know the revs are low but enough to continue to accelerate again. As i accelerate i hear a,best to describe,a grinding/rubbing noise. Is this the clutch plate? It only happens on low revs?

If the main tank is full, I would check that the sensor has not rotated in it's hole in the front of the tank. It's quite common for them to get knocked, and give false readings.

As for the other tank, this is for the intensive wash, and should be filled with intensive cleaning fluid (neat) from the dealer. You should really have some screen wash additive in the main bottle as well.

Not sure about the other probs. Sorry.

Ian.

2nd question- Its probably the linkage bushes between knob and gearbox.

3rd question- I think this is the thrust bearing on the gear box, mine does it. Dont worry about it.
