arb rear

How come my e30 has no rear anti roll bar doesnt even look as if there wasnt one fitted at all

it's probably a lesser model. not all were fitted with them for some odd reason

Mounts will be present on the frame of the car,only 'better' E30 came equipped as standard.
I fitted one to my 2.7,which started life as a 3201SE.

M20 wise the 320 didn't have rear arbs, not even SE versions.
The 316s didn't and I believe the 318 was the same except for the Is.

this is interesting as i own a 1990 320i se and it has a antiroll bar 
!! might have being an aftermarket fitment but its well aged to the same exstent as all other parts under the car so it must have being fitted early on in its life

My 320i SE also has a rear ARB and has been there since the car left the factory. it's a 1989 if that helps?

318is (m42): Front: 20mm Rear: 12mm
318i Convertible (m42): Front: 21mm Rear: 12mm
325e (pre 9/86): Front: 18.5mm Rear: 12mm
325e (9/86): Front: 20mm Rear: 12mm
325i Front: 20mm Rear: 12mm
325is Front: 20mm Rear: 12mm
325i Convertible Front: 21mm Rear: 12mm
325i Convertible M-Tech Front: 21mm Rear: 14.5mm
325ix Front: 17mm Rear: 14.5mm

Well my 89 320i 4dr doesn't have one. I'm guessing those that did hav them were specced with 'm-tech' suspension from the factory? Does anyone have a complete list as above including all variants?

Strange how on DavD's list the 318i convertible has an M42 engine,new one to me,that!
Mine came with an M40,currently sat outside of my garage waiting for it's new home....
