Ant - cannot find your phone no. i an the bloke who rallies an e30 318is and got one of your zone3 chips to work in my car, approx a year ago (car still going strong) my question is that i have now had extensive work carried out on the head and inlet side if i buy a fully mappable piggy back ecu unit to work in conjunction with the existing unit (and your chip) do you think i will gain any benifits from the engine
would be grateful for reply as i don't want to wast money if it will not work
thanks, jon finch

It will work but the people who map it may decide to go with the original chip to use as a base map.
You need to ask the people who are mapping it mate.

Hi Jon, I remember the phone chats M8
TBH if you have outgrown that chip then its almost defo time to swop to full standalone management, you will find theres little moree to be had with the existing AFM based setup
you can go MAF and unichip for Ԛ£800 ish , MBE/DTA/Emerald for around 1K or MsnS for subԚ£300 built + mapping costs, all the standaloes have similar functions, have a peek in the FI section for further discussions on those M8
Welcome back to the zone

glad to hear all is going well still
